How to Apply, Wear and Remove Press-On Nails
A simple guide to help your custom set look cleaner, last longer and protect your natural nails.
1. Prep Before Applying
Wash and dry your hands first. Gently push back the cuticle area, lightly buff the nail surface, and clean each nail with alcohol or an oil-free wipe.
2. Choose the Right Adhesive
Adhesive tabs are better for short wear or photoshoots. Nail glue usually lasts longer, but should be applied carefully and removed gently.
3. Press and Hold
Apply the nail from the cuticle side, lower it slowly, then press firmly for 20-30 seconds. Avoid water, oil and lotion for the first hour.
4. Protect Your Set
Avoid using your nails as tools. Wear gloves for cleaning, avoid soaking in hot water for a long time, and keep the set away from harsh chemicals.
5. Remove Gently
Do not force the nails off. Soak with warm soapy water and oil, then gently lift from the side. If it still feels tight, soak longer before removing.
6. Store for Reuse
After removal, clean the inside of each piece gently and store the set in its box. Good storage helps preserve the shape, shine and details.
